Staying with feeling, what specific goals feel achievable in the course of your treatment? See if you can be specific, ie:
“I will be able to walk one mile with out the pain in my low back increasing”
Or
“I will be able to notice when my body is tensing up during my work day and release unconscious holding patterns so that at the end of the day my pain is not increased at least three out of five days”
Or
“ I will have a home treatment and strengthening program that I feel confident about and I have become solid in my routine of self care, making time for it 5 out of 7 days for more than a month now.”
