Therapeutic Immersion Program

You’ve tried all kinds of different therapies, but nothing gives you lasting results.  Often, you feel like by the time your next appointment rolls around, you are right back to where you were when you left the office the last time.  Sometimes you feel really great when you leave the therapist’s office, but by the time you get home and the realities of your responsibilities hit, all the benefit you got from your appointment has evaporated. 

You wish you could just focus on getting better, but no matter how many times you tell yourself you are going to make time for yourself, It never happens.

Occasional Therapy (any type of healing modality that you go to a couple of times a week or less) can be really successful for some people.  For many of us, it is too difficult to shift gears into fully focusing on healing ourselves for an hour or two out of an otherwise overwhelming schedule. 

Look at it this way, out of 168 hours in a week, you spend 166 dealing with all your other responsibilities (which very often put you into the situations that make your pain worse)  and only 2 on healing yourself.  The time between your sessions allows the old patterns to creep back in and you have to start form scratch each visit. 

Imagine what it would be like to spend a week or two without any distractions while you commit to focusing completely on healing your body.  Receiving the care and support of our whole team at BPT while you spend your day peeling away the layers of pain and holding you’ve built up over your lifetime.  By getting away from your daily responsibilities, and receiving multiple hours of therapy in a day, your old patterns are stripped away, allowing new, more positive patterns to take hold.

At BPT, we applaud those willing to set aside this time for themselves and we meet your commitment to your healing 100%.  The therapeutic immersion program is really our favorite way to work with patients because we see people make such amazing shifts in short periods of time.  Our Therapeutic Immersion Program can be a life-changing experience.

 

Each week of this program includes:

  • Two hours of one on one MFR sessions per day
  • One hour of two therapist MFR session per day
  • One hour of self care and / or pilates instruction per day
  • One two hour group unwinding class per week
  • One two hour guided imagery class per week
  • One hour group stretching/ self care class per week
  • Two fifteen minute meetings per week with program coordinator to discuss goals, progress, and any issues that might arise during your therapy.
  • Access to our hot tub and garden (coming in late 2008)
  • Use of our extensive array of self treatment tools, books, audio, and biofeedback computer program.
  • A personalized home program to continue your improvement independently.

Our Therapeutic Immersion Program will help you:

Our Therapeutic Immersion Program is currently offered only certain weeks of the year.  Our next scheduled program will be held September 15th through 26th, 2008.
